  1. The IMX Pro 486-4 is the sweetest casting mid-price 4-weight I’ve ever tried. It feels lighter, relative to line weight, than any other rod in the IMX Pro series. It is everything I want from an 8 1/2′ 4-weight. It loads immediately at short distances and works line out evenly with a progressive fast action flex that seems to respond at every casting distance with a wonderful combination of line speed and touch. I love this rod!

    This rod will handle any popular 4-weight taper, so choose your line for your fishing situations. My personal favorite is the Scientific Anglers Trout Taper WF4F line.
