   I love both the 907-4 and 908-4 in the Radian Series. They compare to the equivalent saltwater models as follows:

   1) The Radian 907-4 feels lighter and more “trouty” than its peers in the Meridian and new Sector Series. The tip and upper mid section is more forgiving, enabling shorter casts, line mending and other freshwater techniques.

   2) The Radian 907-4 casts wind resistant flies somewhat better than comparable saltwater models because it leans into its powerful butt section with less line in the air.

   3) The Meridians are designed to cross over and fish in the salt, but the components are heavier and ultimately more durable on the Meridian and Sector.

   Overall, the Radian 907-4 and 908-4 are exactly what you would expect: light, stable, sensational casters.
