Ross Reels Evolution R Salt Fly Reel

The Ross Evolution R Salt reel exploits the tactical spool geometry of its younger brother, the Evolution R, and combines it with a 16-disc drag for the ultimate in performance, durability and drag security.  The fully machined reel features an asymmetrical spool for superior line stacking and sealed drag consisting of 16 stainless steel/fluoropolymer discs.  The unique tension knob, integrated into the frame and nearly as large in diameter, allows easy adjustment when line is flying off the spool.  Two counterbalances stabilize and smooth the spool’s rotation when heavy fish surge and run.  The stopping power is enormous, yet this reel is super light weight and user friendly.
