  1. The 100L capacity of the Thunderhead Large Submersible Duffel is one of the features I love the most about this bag. In scenarios where I don’t want to have to pick and choose what comes and what stays, it’s all coming in this bag. I love being able to safely stow my rod tubes inside the main compartment or strap them on the outside with the included Lariat gear straps for quick transport. Fishpond’s decision to return to the first generation of the YKK waterproof zipper is one that brings me a lot more confidence while traveling as well. The 900D TPU coated NewStream fabric is extremely durable and can certainly handle being tossed in and out of planes, boats and rafts with the added security of knowing if it accidentally ends up in the drink, your gear will stay bone dry. Having the ability to deploy the backpack straps and sling this bag on your shoulders is a nice touch as well when your hands are full and you’re in a hurry.
