Sage Dart Fly Rod Review
Read our detailed introduction to Sage DART fly rods, written by Richard Post within hours of casting these fine rods for the first time. Post offers model-by-model reviews with fly line pairing suggestions.
ArticlesThe Sage Dart is a more specialized small stream rod than Sage has ever produced. Short enough to cast efficiently and accurately in tight quarters, the Dart also has the capability to throw laser loops for turning over long leaders. KonneticHD technology optimizes casting capabilities in a super lightweight package, placing stiffness and power where they belong, but leaving the Dart feather light, as one will appreciate in a 7’6″ graphite rod. Fast action but still easy to load and cast at short distances, Sage has finally designed a rod that nails the creek fishing niche while remaining versatile enough to fish most wade fishing rivers in low water conditions.
