New for 2014, the Fishpond Encampment Lumbar pack is a solid choice for both packrats and minimalists.  It’s can be worn as a butt bag or bandillero-style with the shoulder strap.  The structured back air mesh panel assists with heavy loads and provides ventilation.  The large main compartment and smaller front compartment sport water-resistant zippers.  Compression straps help when carrying a loaded down pack or expand to accomodate a rain jacket.  Two exterior pockets perfect for water bottles complete the pack.
