Product Description

The Rio Bonefish Quickshooter is designed for the wading saltwater angler who fishes with a fast action fly rod.  The Quickshooter has a short head that is one line weight heavy, loading fast action rods quickly to deliver the fly right on target.  The Bonefishing Quickshooter utilizes both Agent X and XS Technology.  It is a high floating line that handles beautifully when wading shallow flats.   We particularly recommend the Rio Bonefish Quickshooter on Sage ONE and Sage Method fly rods.  Color: Aqua Blue/Sand

  1. A very purposeful fly line that I particularly like in the lighter weights. The line is the same taper and composition as the Premier Redfish, the color may vary between the two and the packaging. This line is very good on a fast steep tapered fly rod. The shorter head and extra weight loads those rods quickly and this line is an excellent choice for short close shots. I like the lighter weights in this line because the taper and the shorter head work really well together for close quarters skinny water fishing. Bonefish around the mangroves in low light, wading redfish on the floodtides and working around docks when you have a spare minute are great applications for this line.
