Winner of the 2015 IFTD “Best New Freshwater Fly Line” award, the Rio LightLine is a perfect match for the Sage MOD, Scott G2, Loomis NRX LP and other medium action fly rods.  The LightLine is true-to-line-weight, so it won’t overload your slow or medium-action rod, even at distance.  The short front taper loads much faster than the Rio Trout LT, making the LightLine a better choice for small stream fishing.  We have cast the LightLine on many rods and absolutely love the taper.  The LightLine has a supple coating with minimal memory.  It offers a sense of density and precision that results in excellent leader turnover and accurate line placement.
