Simms Alumibite Star Cleats are specifically designed to fit the pre-defined cleat locations on Vibram soles on RIVERTREAD, STREAMTREAD, and VAPORTREAD soles. The angler may install as many or few Alumibite Star Cleats as desired, varying the quantity and pattern according to traction requirements. Alumibite Star Cleats ride lower in the sole than traditional studs, increasing the sense of connectedness for the wader and reducing the “skating effect” of studs on bare rocks.  These cleats are made from aluminum, which is much softer and more “grabby” than steel. 10 per package, with screws for installation.
