The 2024 Simms G3 Guide Boot offers several meaningful upgrades.  The boot is now constructed with a “Norwegian Welt” design and a new midsole that allows for the complete replacement of the Vibram lug sole, a service which Simms offers for $100.  The lug sole features new patterning with 20% superior wet sole traction, a tangible advantage for anglers fishing without studs.  The upper boot is made from Lorenzi synthetic leather rather than Nubuck, saving significant weight and reducing the shrink effect of drying boots.  These new G3 Guide Boots are only 8oz heavier than the Simms Flyweight Boot.
