Simms Hardbite Star Cleats are specifically designed to fit the pre-defined cleat locations on Vibram soles on RIVERTREAD, STREAMTREAD, and VAPORTREAD soles. The angler may install as many or few Hardbite Star Cleats as desired, varying the quantity and pattern according to traction requirements. Hardbite Star Cleats ride lower in the sole than traditional studs, increasing the sense of connectedness for the wader and reducing the “skating effect” of studs on bare rocks.  These cleats are 45 Rockwell hardness, zinc plated for corrosion resistance, with carbide chips welded to each arm for additional traction. 10 per package, with screws for installation.
