Bauer SLT Reels

We are proud to introduce Bauer SLT saltwater reels, designed to survive the hurricane.  These are hard hitting reels with sophisticated drag systems, ultra large arbors, 100% machined external parts and a gorgeous finish.  The stainless steel and carbon stacked drag is fitted with an oversized low durometer O-ring for smooth operation throughout the range.  From the lowest drag setting to the highest, these are among the smoothest operators of all saltwater fly reels thanks to a re-imagined clutch.  Impeccable machining fits the spool snugly but without friction to the frame, beautiful, sturdy, tall and narrow.  Retrieve rate is spectacular.  Quality radiates.  Internal parts are made from 6061 aluminum, 7075 aluminum and stainless steel.  The drag is double sealed with a tensioning knob that is large and knurled for easy handling but slightly conical to shed line.  Finally, we love the handle, large, ported and machined from 6061 aluminum for infinite retrieve.
