Reviews

  1. While having a fully waterproof/submersible pack is not necessarily essential in the state of Colorado, there is something to be said about the reassurance of knowing your gear will stay dry even if you go for a swim. This pack has plenty of space for everything you would need for a day on the water. The sling allows for easy access to your gear without having to take your pack off and the multiple attachment points allow you to hang all the essentials on the outside. The one issue I do have with the Thunderhead is the lack of individual compartments for organizing fly boxes and other smaller items. Being a decently large pack, items seem to get lost in the depths of the bag when I’ve got it packed full.
