   Similar to the 10’ 5-weight Air 2 Reach, this model delivers tremendous power and control without much requirement from the angler. It casts an SA Infinity taper with ideal loop shape for nymphs and a strike indicator. It does not commute the same sense of lightness as the 10’ 4-weight, but when actually fishing a double nymph rig or full sinking line, it feels effortless and efficient. The 10’ 6-weight Air 2 Reach has the greatest natural roll casting, line mending and single Spey capability of any rod in my memory. For anglers who do most of their work with the line already on the water, this is a masterful fishing tool. When overhead casting, it’s range is zero to about 80 feet, ideal for stillwaters and broad rivers where long casts are required to find fish on the periphery, whether trout or perhaps summer steelhead.
